All Applications (Manila Test Site) from September 1 to 20, 2022 are approved EXCEPT for applications with payment attachment issues and registration issues.

Approved applicants can download their test vouchers in their respective accounts through the JLPT Online Application Platform (https://jlpt-apply.jfmo.org.ph/).

JLPT ANNOUNCEMENT: Deadline of Application

Manila Test Site is still accepting JLPT applications until September 20 (Tuesday) at 11:59PM. The JLPT Online Application Platform (https://jlpt-apply.jfmo.org.ph/) will no longer accept applications from September 21, 2022 (Wednesday) at 12:00 Midnight onwards.

Applications submitted from September 6 onwards are still in the process of validation. Please wait for your approval email.

JLPT DECEMBER 2022 ANNOUNCEMENT

The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) will be held on Sunday – December 4, 2022 .

1) Test Location and Level: Manila, Cebu, and Davao (N1-N5) and CDO (N3-N5)
2) Register at https://jlpt-apply.jfmo.org.ph/
3) Application Period: Sept 1 – 20, 2022 (as of Aug 31, not open yet)
4) Registration Fee: N3-N5 (Php 1,100)N1-N2 (Php 1,500)
5) Advance Payment (see detailed instruction on the online application form.)

Important Note (Please read carefully):

**Applicants or the representative of a group need to pay the corresponding registration fee and then upload a copy of the payment slip (or Official Receipt) on the online Application Form to complement the application.
** In Manila and Davao, once the application number reaches the maximum (6,400 slots for Manila; 1,500 slots for Davao, no more applications will be accepted. Those who cannot complete the application but already paid the test fee will receive the refund of the payment made.
**Only those who are fully vaccinated are eligible to take the test.
** Group applications shall be made for the same level.

Atty. Eusebio V. Tan Receives Imperial Award at Conferment Ceremony

Atty. Eusebio V. Tan, member of the Philippines-Japan Society (PJS) Board of Trustees and adviser of PHILJEC, received the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon award during a ceremony held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at the Japanese Ambassador’s Residence.

Ambassador Kazuhiko Koshikawa on behalf of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan conferred the award, which recognizes Atty. Tan’s contribution to strengthening the relations between Japan and the Philippines in the economic sector. Ambassador Koshikawa, in his congratulatory message, lauded the many efforts of Atty. Tan in promoting the Philippines as a viable investment location for a diversified manufacturing base which greatly encouraged and made possible the entry of several Japanese investors. Ambassador Koshikawa added that Atty. Tan assisted in the expansion of some Japanese financial institutions into the Philippines so that Japanese business sectors could be financially supported. In 2012 and 2013, Atty. Tan also served as co-chair of the Philippines-Japan Economic Cooperation Committee (PHILJEC) and led several bilateral dialogues. To close his message, Ambassador Koshikawa expressed his hope that Atty. Tan will remain steadfast in helping further deepen bilateral relations between Japan and the Philippines.

The Order of the Rising Sun was established by Emperor Meiji in 1875 and is awarded to individuals who have made distinguished achievements in international relations, promotion of Japanese culture, advancements in their field, development in welfare or preservation of the environment.
