JLPT General Flow Guide

PRE-APPLICATION PERIOD

1. Applicants are to inquire about the JLPT through the different local host institutions. After which, the local host institutions will reply to their inquiries.

APPLICATION PERIOD

2. Once the application period has started, the applicants can create their JLPT account (for new test takers) or verify their account (for old test takers).

3. Then, you are to correctly and completely fill-up the application form.

4. After that, you have to upload a recent 1×1 Digital ID photo.

5. Next, you have to pay the registration fee and upload a clear and complete proof of payment.

6. Applicants can only submit their application once they have accomplished all the other tasks written above.

7. Once the applicants have successfully submitted their application form, the host institution will manually review each submission. Kindly wait for the email.

*Do not send another application.

8. Once your application is approved, you may now print your test voucher in an A4 sized paper. Make sure to double check the information written.

TEST PROPER

9. During the test proper, you need to make sure that you are in the correct venue and brought the needed materials (Test Voucher, Government-issued ID, Writing Materials).

RESULTS

10. After the exam, the online viewing of results will be announced. Make sure that you still have a copy of your registration number and 8-digit passcode to access your results (which can be found in your test voucher).

11. Lastly, receiving of certificates (for passers) and score reports (all examinees) will be mailed by the local host institutions.

JULY 2023 JAPANESE LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TEST IN MANILA TEST SITE

1. Test Day: July 2, 2023 – Sunday

2. Application Period: April 1 to 20, 2023 only (*as of March 21, registration link is not yet active)

3. Registration Fee

• N1 to N2: Php 1,500

• N3 to N5: Php 1,100

4. Important Reminders:

• Registration fee is strictly non-refundable, non-transferable and non-deferrable

• All applicants have to pay the registration fee and then upload the proof of payment to complete the registration.

• No group applications will be accepted.

• Applicants are highly-encouraged to be fully-vaccinated during the test day.

• Registration link will only be available during the application period. No applications will accepted outside the application period.

JLPT December 2022 Test Results

The hard copy of the JLPT December 2022 Test Results (Passed and Not Passed) were sent out through third-party delivery services.

All examinees who were able to take the test must keep their registered phone numbers active for them to be reached by the third-party delivery service representatives.

JLPT ANNOUNCEMENT: How to Access the JLPT Online Result

Start: 9:00AM of January 23, 2023
End: 4:00PM of March 31, 2023

Important Reminder: JLPT Online Result can be viewed multiple times within the given time period. The page will not be accessible after the time limit exceed.


●     Click the link <https://www.jlpt-overseas.jp/onlineresults/preinput.do>. You will be directed to the Log-in page.

Note: The link will be accessible exactly on the day of online result viewing.
 
 ●     Fill out the necessary fields (1) Registration Number and (2) Passcode, then click the Login button. The registration number and passcode can be found in your test voucher.

Note: If you lose your printed test voucher, you can download the digital copy of the test voucher in your JLPT Online Account (https://jlpt-apply.jfmo.org.ph).

●     After you log in, the page will immediately show the score report. The score report only shows the level, registration number, result, scores and reference information. All of the information will appear on the official printed score report with other additional information.

Note: The official Certificate of Japanese-Language Proficiency (for passers) and Score Report (for all examinees) will be sent out sometime at the end of March 2023.

JLPT ANNOUNCEMENT: DECEMBER 2022 ONLINE TEST RESULT

The Online Test Result of all JLPT examinees last December 4, 2022 will be available by last week of January 2023.
